In the present scenario, the ERP market is vibrant and gradually growing. The role of Consultants is very important in using ERP systems effectively in the organizations. This paper discusses about the effectiveness of Enterprise Resource Planning from Consultants perspective. In this paper an attempt is made to understand why consultants are hired in the organizations and the details of Implementation Triangle is discussed to understand the consultant’s role in the organization.
Risk perceived with the ERP implementation, effectiveness, acceptance of implementation, changes in the managerial capacities after implementing, understanding when the implementation will be complete and external factors considered while evaluating ERP systems are discussed from Consultant’s perspective.
